12 V bulbs/light sources are used many places such as cars, caravans, campers and sail boats. The standard for 12 V lamps is very different and therefore there's a variety of shapes and sizes. Incandescent bulbs are gradually replaced by LED bulbs, which consume significantly smaller amount of power.
