These terms and conditions apply for all purchases made on www.scandihills.com for delivery in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greenland, Iceland and Faroe Islands.

All prices shown are daily prices and valid only on the date of purchase. All prices shown are subject to changes.

Order and payment
www.scandihills.com are open for business 24 hours a day. Only on rare occasions the website will be temporarily closed for maintenance. You can only make purchases when the website is open and available.
To order on www.scandihills.com you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid credit card, of which we accept. If you are not 18 years old yet, you can still make purchases, although you will need the accept of your legal guardian, or otherwise have the legal right to make the purchase.
To place an order; select the items you want to order and put them in “the basket”. You can view and edit the basket contents up until the time of purchase. Any delivery costs or payment fees will be calculated just before checkout.
When you are ready to place your order, go to “Checkout”, where you enter your name, address, email, phone number, form of payment and choice of delivery. You can edit the contents of your basket right until you confirm your purchase by clicking “Confirm”. Thereafter your order goes through to www.scandihills.com.
The account or card information you provide at checkout are sent directly to NETS/Bambora in a secure and encrypted form (SSL), that only you and NETS/Bambora can read. This means, that no one else are able to view or save your personal information.
When paying with Dankort, Visa Dankort or credit card, the amount will only be deducted your account when your order is shipped from ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor.
Order receipt and order confirmation
When you have successfully placed an order, you will receive an order receipt. However, a binding purchase agreement has not been entered until you have received an order confirmation from us.
Delivery time means the time that elapses before the product is shipped from the warehouse of ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor.
The expected delivery time can be seen at each item. If a larger number is ordered than is physically in stock, the delivery time changes to the time that elapses before the goods can be obtained from another supplier.

Disclaimer and warranty
ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor has made it easy for you to attain relevant information on other websites through links. Those websites are beyond the control of ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor. We can therefor not be held accountable for the content on those websites. Information from other websites about ordered items, are not part of the description of the ordered items in the purchase agreement between the customer and ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor.
The seller is not liable for direct or indirect losses as a result of the ordered goods arriving late or if the goods suffer from damages, when the delay or damages are due to buyer’s actions, omission or circumstances, that are beyond the control of ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor. Such circumstances include e.g. war, riots, disturbances, fire, state interference, seizure, currency restrictions, labor disputes of any kind including strike and lockout or the like.
ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor does not provide an independent guarantee for the goods ordered. The buyer only obtains the guarantees that the manufacturer issues to the buyer.
14 days right of return
When shopping on www.scandihills.com you get 14 days full right of return, where you can inform us, that you wish to return your order, and thereafter return the items to us.
If you have purchased several items, it is possible to return one or more items from the same order.
The 14 days full right of return counts from the day you received the order. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Sunday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended to the following working day. In case of several items purchased in one order but is delivered separately or in more than one package, the return right starts counting from the day you receive the last item or lot from your order.
Condition of returned items
The returned items must be in the same condition as you received them in, and all original product packaging must be included as well.
You are only responsible for any product deterioration that is caused by other handling than what is necessary to determine the nature of the product, properties and the way it functions. In other words – you can try the product as you would do it in a physical store.
If the product has been handled in any other way than what is described above, we will consider the product as used. This means, that in case of return you will only get a part or nothing of the purchase back, depending on the sales value of the product.
To receive a full refund for the returned item you can only try the product as you would in a physical store. You cannot put it into actual use.
On some items there is no right of return, or you can lose your right of return. We will let you know in the order confirmation if there are any items subject to this rule because of e.g. the nature of the product, or where you can lose your right of return in case seals have been broken – e.g. freeze-dried foods cannot be opened.
If you wish to make a return, you must, by an unambiguous statement, notify us within 14 days of receipt of the items. You can notify us by email, phone or through our standard return form.

When returning it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are securely wrapped, as you carry the responsibility of the products until we receive them. We therefor strongly advise, that you keep the shipping receipt and possibly a track and trace number.
You must cover the expenses when returning. Some items cannot be returned by regular shipping due to the nature of the product. This applies for e.g. heavy items (+20 kg), tents, refrigerators, etc.). Expenses for returning is not expected to succeed the amount of 500 DKK/100 Euro.
You must include documentation of your purchase in the returned package, e.g. an order confirmation. Additionally, it would ease the return process if you include a filled-out return form, which you can find here.
We expect you return the items as soon as possible after notifying us about your wish to return. You must return the items no later than 14 days after notifying us.
Note! We do not accept packages sent unpaid or per COD (Collect On Delivery).
The stated rules and right of return apply to all items purchased online on www.scandihills.com by private individuals - it does not apply to items sold to companies.
Refund of purchase
If you wish to claim your right of return, you will of course receive your paid amount back. In case of any impairments that you are liable for, this purchase is deducted.
When claiming your right of return, we will refund all payments from you, including original shipping costs (return costs are covered by you). Please note, that we only refund the lowest available shipping rate for your destination. In case you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery, you will only receive a refund equivalent to standard delivery.
We will process your return as soon as possible, with no unnecessary delay. Under any circumstances we will refund your purchase no later than 14 days after we have received your notification of your return. We will issue the refund by the same payment method used for the purchase, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise.
Note! You will only be refunded shipping costs if you return the entire purchase. If you return only parts of your original purchase, shipping costs will not be refunded.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned items, unless you have previously submitted documentation to have returned it.
Complaints – if something is wrong with a product
Your purchase is covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act, hereunder the rules for defective products. This means, that if you have purchased a defected item, you have the right to have the item repaired or exchanged or get a discount or full refund according to the exact situation.
It is, of course, a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of an incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour.
You must contact us within “reasonable time”
You must file your complaint within “reasonable time” after discovering the defect in the item. We recommend, that you complain as soon as possible, and within 2 months, after the defect has been discovered. When returning the defective product, we kindly ask you to explain, as detailed as possible, what exactly the problem is. It is not a requirement, but it will ease our processing and minimize the handling time for the complaint.
Refund of shipping costs if justified complaint
If the complaint is justified, we will of course refund your reasonable shipping costs for sending the item back to us.
Otherwise, you will have to bear all expenses for transport yourself, including our shipping costs for returning the item after examination, and we can charge you an amount of up to DKK 450 per commenced hour for examination of the item.
Remember that the item must always be sent in proper packaging and to get a receipt for shipment. You carry the responsibility for the package/item until we receive it. Save shipping receipt including information on shipping costs and possibly a Track and Trace number.

To make a purchase on www.scandihills.com, you must enter the following data:

The above data is stored with information about which goods you have purchased for 5 years from the end of the financial year, to which the information relates (Section 10 of the Accounting Act), after which the information is deleted.
If you have created an account to be able to self-service with us, your personal information will not be deleted unless you ask us to do so.
The CEO of ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor has access to the information that is registered about you.
The CEO and data responsible for ScandiHills Camping & Outdoor is Finn Rimmer Sørensen.
Data will not be sold or disclosed to third party, unless this is done in connection with a restructuring or a full or partial sale of the business. In such a situation, any disclosure will take place in accordance to the personal data laws in force at any time.
As a customer you have the opportunity to gain insight into our registration of data about you, and you can object to a registration in accordance with the rules on this in the Act on processing of personal data. The EU Commission’s online complaint portal can also be used for filing a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer resident in another EU country.
